GOSPEL
Creation
God created all things, and He created the Earth as a place of complete peace. This peace He created assists human beings to experience joy with each other and their Creator. Human beings were given access to the very presence of God on Earth, and humans worshipped God by loving Him and others for all of eternity.
Fall
While Adam and Eve experienced peace with God, they chose to reject God’s commands and rule over them. When they chose to reject and rebel against God, they were representing all of humanity. Adam and Eve’s choice to sin affects each of us because – just like them – we actively choose to sin and reject God.
Redemption
We choose to sin and reject God, but God chose to give us a way to be reconciled to Him: Jesus. God was intent on working all things for good through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. God’s plan was set in motion from eternity past, but Jesus came to accomplish redemption for those who love Him. The entirety of the Bible came to its pinnacle in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Restoration
The universe does not have an uncertain ending; God has promised that there will be a return to the peace at the beginning of creation. Jesus will restore all things by judging sin and provide life to all His creation. Sin will be no more and all things will be made new.
